Sunset Park is Clark County's crown jewel. Since 1967, it has been serving the Las Vegas Valley. Sunset is the biggest and most distinguished Park in the city, with 185 acres of 323. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and softball fields.
The Park also has a disc golf course and a dog park. It also includes shaded picnic areas and a lake with fish. Walking trails that wind through natural dunes and mesquite have been added to the park's most recent expansion. The park contains one of the few remaining natural dunes which once dominated the Las Vegas Valley's southern end. Sunset Park hosts special events, such as the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival.
