Viva Las Arepas, like any other family-owned restaurant, has a humble beginning. They started with a cart in a parking lot and prevailed for almost two years until they are finally able to move down to a storefront at 1616 Las Vegas Blvd.
They make some of the finest Venezuelan wood-grilled meats and served their signature Arepa dish; A grilled beef arepa comes stretched wide, full of carne asada-like chunks of beef with iceberg lettuce and slices of tomato and they also have white corn arepas, crunchy on the outside and doughy in the middle.
Unlike cornbread, they serve as a more bun-like vehicle for rich fillings. Those who seek a more corn-flavored experience should go for the cachapa. It is sweet yellow corn studded with fresh corn kernels that deliver earthier satisfaction. It’s especially good filled with soft mozzarella-like cheese and salty farmer’s cheese similar to Cotija.
At Viva Las Arepas, they value customer satisfaction above everything else. such as adding stuff to our menu or accommodating the needs of our customers to the best of their abilities.
They added menus and redesigned the website so anyone can Order Online.
