Sand Hollow State Park is located in Utah, USA, featuring a 1,322-acre reservoir and an extensive off-highway vehicle recreation area on Sand Mountain. The park is near the town of Hurricane. The park was officially dedicated in April 2003 and surrounded the Sand Hollow Reservoir.
With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, with a temperature that hovers around 86-81 degrees F from May through September, the Reservoir is the best place for skiing and other water sports activities. There are also designated picnic and camping areas.
There are two campgrounds to choose from in the area. First, the Sandpit Campground (ATVs allowed to drive in) offers nineteen dry camping sites, six power sites, and five group sites. Second is the Westside Campground, with 50 sites with full hook-ups. All Campgrounds have a fire ring picnic table and restrooms with showers.
