The Lodge takes on a more eloquent ambiance in the evening with candlelight dining.
Hidden at elevation 7,000 feet among the juniper and sweet ponderosa pine of Kyle Canyon, a crackling fire invites you to the heart of Mt. Charleston.
Welcome to The Lodge.
Las Vegas's Treasure: There are many restaurants in Las Vegas, but there is only one located at 7,717 feet at the summit of the mountain in Kyle Canyon's Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest. This attraction offers spectacular views of the mountains and Mother Nature. Local favorites are featured on the extensive menu. Our world-famous Mt. Charleston Coffee is also available in the Lounge.
You can find top-quality liquors and liqueurs as well as California and domestic beers at the full bar. Candlelight dinners give the Lodge a richer atmosphere. At the heart of Lodge's decor is the open fireplace at the centre of its 200-capacity venue. The lounge is located along one of three walls that surround the rooms.
An A-frame structure features a loft ceiling of 20 feet and a window that is equally tall opposite the lounge. Its rustic ambience evokes feelings both of tranquility and quaintness. The Lodge, which is the only restaurant at Kyle Canyon's top, is popular with tour groups and locals who want to get away for the day. Wedding receptions can be held on the small stage and dance floor.
Mount Charleston boasts more than 50 miles worth of trails that traverse the rugged terrain. Many of the trails can be walked or adapted for handicapped people. You can also climb to the summit of the mountain. You will find stunning views and unique geology, and beautiful flora on the more difficult hikes.
Mount Charleston offers many activities for hikers, from camping and picnics to more challenging treks. Some trails allow bicycles. Mount Charleston and Spring Mountains have temperatures that are 20-30 degrees lower than those in the valleys. This makes them a great spot for visitors and residents of Las Vegas who wish to escape the scorching desert heat.
There are no entry fees or hiking permits.
