About Las Vegas Fencing Academy (LVFA)

Las Vegas Fencing Academy (LVFA) was created by several sets of parents whose children love fencing but realized that there were very limited options in Las Vegas after Red Rock Fencing Center closed down.

With former owner and Head Coach of RRFC and now our new Head Coach Frank Van Dyke, LVFA has recruited 5 additional amazing fencing coaches who specialize in teaching young kids and adults in epee and saber.

A majority of our students compete in formal competitions. This is not a strip-mall karate school where you can buy a new belt level every few months and achieve a black belt by age 8.

Las Vegas Fencing Academy is not like any other fencing facility. Come and see why.

Las Vegas Fencing Academy (LVFA) is a State of The Art fencing school centrally located just 2 minutes from the 215 Highway near Rainbow. We specialize in training children 5 and up as well as adults in this amazing sport. Our goal is to make sure our members have fun, get fit and help us spread the word about this sport.

Very clean, friendly and spacious environment. Students love to take classes with Coach James. He seems to really enjoy teaching all levels of students. I would recommend this place to anybody interested in fencing.

Since April 2021, my son was a fencing student at the school. The owner and coach were passionate but they wanted to make me transfer to another coach. I sent several messages on 9 1, and they did not return any of them. I had told Carlos that I would not be going anymore to the school. However, they continued to charge me for 10 1. This academy is amazing. I don't know where to start. My children started fencing in saber again about 5 years ago. The instructors, students, and families of the students are all so friendly and welcoming that they can take their fencing to whatever level their hearts desire.
