About Fremont Street Experience

Fremont Street is an old road in Las Vegas, founded in 1905, and was the first road in the city to be paved and the first city's traffic light installed in this street in 1931. The street was called Glitter Gultch in 1937when lights invaded it.

The main street attraction is the Golden Gate Hotel and  Casino, wherein the interior of the lobby and the gaming rooms have been built and embellished with details that give a Victorian-style look.

It is a five-block-long entertainment complex boasting the SlotZilla zip line, a pedestrian mall, three concert stages, casinos, and attractions, including the world's largest LED screen. Twelve and a half million LEDs and 550,000 watts of sound make for an amazing light show along with live music, great gambling, delicious food and drink, and a full-on street party every night.

The Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian mall and attraction in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The FSE occupies the westernmost five blocks of Fremont Street, including the area known for years as "Glitter Gulch," and portions of some other adjacent streets.

This was an unforgettable experience! It was great food and street performers. And it was filled with great people. For those who are staying close to home, I recommend a 24-hour bus pass and rideshare for easy movement. It was my first visit. The perfect length of stay was 4 nights. Freemont Experience was the best experience I have ever had. This... see more
