Chef Derland Blake, better known locally as DB put up the restaurant at the intersection of Rancho Drive and Craig Road featuring its own patio.
Inspired by the success and reputation of Roscoe’s soul food on the West Coast, the Cajun Kitchen build popularity as a private acting restaurant and home-cooked-inspired dishes at the counter-service venue.
Already hinted for the menu, crab legs, gumbo, shrimp and grits, lobster mac and cheese, and strawberry shortcake. Recent DB creations have also included stuffed French toast paired with deep-fried king crab, lobster and waffles, catfish, and barbecue ribs.
Crab boils are available every Saturday from 6 PM-9 PM. The Lunch/Dinner menu is only available on Saturdays from 11 AM-4:30 PM and the restaurant closes on Saturdays from 4:30-6 PM to transition to the crab boils. The full Lunch/Dinner menu is available all day Wednesday-Friday.
