Tour of the Ethel M Botanical Cactus Garden in Henderson, Nevada, USA founded on Aug. 17, 2011. Henderson is located 15 minutes from The Strip on Las Vegas, on the way to Hoover Dam. The Ethel M Chocolate Factory, M&M's World Chocolate Shoppe, and the Cactus Garden attract over 700,000 tourists a year. The Cactus Garden is located on a three-acre arid landscape, and with over 350 rare and exotic species, the garden is one of America's finest and largest collections of cactus, succulents, and desert plants from the Southwest and other deserts of the world. These include Teddy Bear Cholla, Texas Prickly Pear, and Spotted Aloe, among others. 

During the holiday season, the garden showcases a breathtaking display of Christmas lights, caroling, dancing, and visits from Santa Claus. The Cactus Garden is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Chocolate Factory is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free and tours are self-guided. Special-guided tours may be arranged for parties of 10 or more by calling +1-702-435-2655. Live chocolate production hours vary but are generally Monday through Friday until 4:30 p.m. Chocolate factory workers are not available on Saturdays and Sundays. Tourists witness the time and effort it takes to create perfect chocolates at the factory, which has a maze of pipes, conveyor belts, and tanks that hold up to 35,000 gallons of chocolate.

Forrest was located in the middle of desert heat, so he went to great lengths to make our chocolates here.
