About Springs Preserve

Las Vegas Springs Preserve consists of 180 acres dedicated to nature walks and displays. It is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Valley Water District, located approximately three miles west of downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Preserve is known as the birthplace of Las Vegas and represents one of the wealthiest and most unique cultural and biological resources in Southern Nevada. It features museums, galleries, outdoor events, botanical gardens & a trail system that meanders through a scenic wetland habitat.

Go back to nature and discover Nevada's landscape and history at the Springs Preserve Las Vegas. Free entry with the Las Vegas Power Pass. Displaying 180 acres of green museums, galleries, botanical gardens, and trails, the Springs Preserve offers a whole new perspective to the Las Vegas desert.

This nature-focused complex features a botanical garden, walking trails, and museums. Join the Springs Preserve by becoming a member. An annual membership is the best way to enjoy it. All members receive year-round admission to the museums and attractions. They also get discounts on events and reciprocal access to over 300 national gardens.

This is a great way to escape the casino and get closer to nature, while also learning more about Nevada culture, geography and history.

It is amazing. Springs Preserve is a favorite place of my 5 year old. She loves the butterfly garden, trains, dinosaurs, and reptiles. If all else fails, you can always go to the gift store and purchase the BBQ sauce.
