Acceptable forms of payment We do not accept cash care credit or local checks. How can I pay? Pet insurance pays the owner for the care of the pet.
The owner then submits a claim with the insurance company. Although we do not offer in-house insurance, our facility can assist with filing claims after all services are completed. Trupanion direct payments are accepted. In most cases, Trupanion can make any payment prior to your pet's discharge.
Before you choose the best pet policy for your family, take the time to thoroughly research the policies. Keep in mind, however that insurance companies do have waiting periods and may not provide coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. It is best to get insurance for your pet as soon as possible, before they become seriously ill. If you have any questions, please speak to a staff member.
How do I prepare for my pet's surgery? You must take out all treats and food after 10 pm on the night prior to the surgery. However, you can leave water. Check-in for all pets must be done by 9 a.m. on the day of surgery. Bring any medications that your pet is currently taking with you.
