Andy McDonald is the chief financial officer. He oversees accounting and finance, including accountability for funding new developments and capital improvement projects in existing properties. Andy joined HumanGood in 2007 and has worked with the organization for twelve years. He was first appointed vice president of finance at ABHOW. Prior to joining ABHOW in 2007, Andy worked as a long-term financial forecaster for Southern California Edison.

He also provided financial advice services in corporate restructuring at Arthur Andersen. Andy Baker is a CPA. He received his MBA at UCLA, and his undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College in Economics and Accounting. She joined the Board of Directors of be.group in 2012 after she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Westminster Gardens.

Her extensive experience includes improving health care performance, analyzing processes, conducting stakeholder research and introducing metrics. She also has the ability to develop strategic plans and initiatives. Baker is a registered nurse and holds a master's degree in organizational development and human resources from the University of San Francisco. In 2011, Bill joined be.group Board of Director.

His corporate leadership experience includes stints as President of Westwood One Inc., NBC Radio Network CEO and president of BuyitNow Inc. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Iwerks Entertainment. He also served as executive vice president at Valence Technology Inc. His master's degree is in business administration, from University of Virginia Colgate Darden Graduate Business School.

He also has a bachelor's degree as an economist. Secretary Declan Brown serves as vice president of Veritec Solutions transportation initiatives. His experience in the transport industry spans more than 25-years. He has extensive consulting expertise for railways, ports and ocean carriers.

Inc. Brown was co-founder of and president at the Kingsley Group. He has also worked on major acquisitions in Europe, Brazil, Mexico, and Central America. His past experiences include Southern Pacific Transportation Company.

He also served as an advisor to Central American, European, Asia, and African governments. Brown has been a speaker on transportation matters at conferences both nationally and internationally. Close Alan Griffith Alan is a senior financial executive with over 30 years of experience. Corporate development includes acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and planning.

SEC reporting is another important area of expertise. ARAMARK Corporation was his 25-year professional career, where he held various financial positions. He was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Planning at ARAMARK when he retired from work in 2007. This role involved responsibility for planning for ARAMARK and as chief financial officer for Food and Support Services Group.

Alan is currently the Board Chair and has been a member of Presby's Inspired Life since 2012. He currently serves as the President of Old York Road Country Club's Board of Governors. Contract Pharmacy Services is a supplier of long-term care services and the correctional industry. He serves as an advisory board member.

Recently, he completed his term as University of Scranton trustee. Alan is a member at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and previously served as a Ruling Elder. Griffith received his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton, and his Master's Degree at Temple University. Griffith is an AICPA member and a PICPA member.

Close Rev. Michelle M. Holmes, The Rev. Michelle Holmes, the Rev. has served in a variety of positions at the American Baptist Seminary of the West since 1990.

As vice president, chief financial officer and vice president for Institutional Advancement she also served as acting president, president, and assistant to president for development and recruitment. As chair of the Association of Theological Schools' Chief Financial Officers Steering Committee, she was also a member of both the Graduate Theological Union Council of Development Officers (GTCU) and the Council of Chief Financial Officers (CCFO). She served as a member of several denominational committees, including the Executive Committee of Evergreen Baptist Association and the Advisory Committee for Women in Professional Ministry of ABC USA. Al Kelley was close to Albert W.

Kelley and joined be.group Board of Directors as Vice Chair in 2008. He became the board's chair in 2011. Kelley's 37-year career included commercial banking lending for large international and national companies. His master s in business administration degree was earned at the University of Southern California.

He also received his bachelor s from California Western University. Randy Stamper is a former Chair of ABHOW and Cornerstone boards of directors. Stamper provides unique counsel to ABHOW on CCRC planning and financing. Stamper Rubens P.

S. was his previous law practice in Spokane. Its primary focus was on health-related matters. Stamper is a member the Spokane County and Idaho State bar associations and authorized to practice before U. S.

Supreme Court. As general counsel to the Inland Northwest Council Boy Scouts of America, he has been a member of the board. A former member of St. George s School's board, a Spokane-based private K-12 school, as well as a board member for the Shrine Hospital of Spokane.

His board service included many other organizations and he was an active member of numerous Spokane community service groups. Recently, he moved to Boise from Idaho. Stamper has a law degree at the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor s from the University of Idaho. Reynolds is also the Redlands Senior Housing II and Redlands Senior Housing II current chair.

Close Mary Bihr Mary Bihr Mary Bihr was a senior executive in business who managed worldwide sales and marketing at LucasArts. She established Indiana Jones and Star Wars brands in interactive entertainment and grew revenues to over several hundred millions of dollars. She retired after more than twenty years in service and now serves on many boards and charities. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees were completed at the University of California in Berkeley.

Close Lynn Melby Lynn Melby manages community association management companies and is therefore well-equipped to run effective board meetings. His involvement in facilitating Good Shepherd Baptist Church's donation of land made it possible to create Shepherd s Garden. Although he has resigned as Shepherd s Garden's chair, he remains a board member. Close Gloria Meads, Secretary Gloria Meads, is a registered nurse who works in many health-related areas, including medial surgery as an evening supervisor at Merritt Hospital, Oakland.

Her experience also includes work in public health, psychiatric and other areas related to health services. Meads received her master s in nursing degree from University of California San Francisco and her RN/bachelor s degrees from Columbia University. Donna Benton, an associate researcher in gerontology at USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is also the director of USC Family Caregiver Support Center Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center. Her experience includes more than 30 year's of working with people living with dementia to enhance their services.

After completing her clinical psychology graduate program at the California School of Professional Psychology, she was also a USC Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center gero-psychological fellow. Ken Bose, a Harborview Properties Board member and an experienced nonprofit executive is close to him. His leadership saw the board partner with HumanGood to oversee a multimillion-dollar renovation of the community. He is also a long-serving Harborview Properties board member.

After serving as the division chief director of the Los Angeles Housing Department's housing services for seniors, low- and medium-income tenants and owners, Clarke retired in 2004. He also served as the senior planner at the County of Los Angeles Area Agency on Aging. His master's and bachelor's degrees were from Pepperdine University in urban planning and business, respectively. He also received a bachelor's degree from City College of New York in political science.

Sue Schock Roderick is a senior planner for the County of Los Angeles Area Agency on Aging. Her experience includes long-term care, nursing, rehabilitation, training, and mental health. She was a state Department of Aging consultant on aging and responsible for the establishment of the senior information and referral network. Roderick established local commissions to assist older people in rural areas early in her career.

Roderick served as ABHOW's senior vice president, chief administrative officer and prior to her retirement. Her doctorate in public administration and master's degree in public management were earned at the University of Southern California. She also received master's and bachelor's degrees at San Jose State University. Roderick has a lifetime teaching credential in secondary education.

Randall L. Stamper is the Vice Chair. Randy Stamper was the previous chair of ABHOW and Cornerstone boards. He provides unique advice on planning and financing CCRC.

His practice, which was 90% health-related, is the former managing partner of Stamper Rubens P. S. in Spokane. Stamper is a member in good standing of several American and Washington State bar associations. He can also practice before the U.

Additionally, he spent 23 years with Ernst Young International, an international accounting and consulting company.

Most recently, he was the partner responsible for services to the natural resource and health care industries. Many of his clients included retirement communities. He was the Chief Administrative Officer at Bellevue Presbyterian Church for 4000 members in his final years. His long-standing commitment to not for profit organisations has been a constant one.

This includes serving as the Board Chair of Emerald Communities, each of its associated facilities, Emerald Heights, Heron s Key and Samaritan Health Services and the Learning Disability Association of Washington. He has also served as the Eastside Catholic High School's Board Treasurer, Jubilee Reach and the John 14 2 Foundation. He was also a member of the investment committee for the National Presbyterian Church USA. Foundation.

The Legacy Foundation, Medical Teams International and Health Care Financial Management Association are other Board members. Close Albert W. Kelley Al Kelley was elected to the be.group Board of Director in 2008. He also graduated from the University of Redlands.

Kelley's 37-year career included lending commercial banks to major national and international corporations. Kelley received his Master s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and his Bachelor s Degree from California Western University. Laycook is an IT consultant who has more than 30 year experience working in the healthcare industry. Laycook earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Redlands.

Laycook is an active member of First Baptist Church of Redlands. Close Judee Bavaria Judee, a current board member of HumanGood Advocacy and Consulting Board. Her former role as CEO and president of Presby s Inspired Life was her. Recently, she was elected to the Mease Life board.

This is a CCRC located in Dunedin Florida. Judee has been with Presby since July 1999, when she was appointed chief operating officer. She was elected president and CEO in 2005. The affordable housing ministry grew from just 11 to 36 communities during her time at Presby.

Judee was previously the corporate compliance officer for Lutheran Services Northeast and vice-president of operations. She has also supervised her leadership at the Department of Public Welfare in Pennsylvania. Judee's status as an innovative professional has inspired other senior housing organizations and care agencies to hire her as a trusted advisor and speaker. Judee's passion for volunteerism is noteworthy.

She has been directed towards supporting the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging PCA, Philadelphia. Judee was also a Board member of University of Scranton. Judee served six years as the chair of this board. For 12 years, she was the chairperson of Catholic Senior Housing and Health Care Services.

Judee holds a B. S. in Nursing and is registered as a nurse. A B. S. in Secondary Education from East Stroudsburg University, and an M.

S. The University of Scranton offers rehabilitation counseling. Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing is where she graduated. Bill Close, Jr. joined Presby s Inspired Life s Board, now HumanGood East, in 1994.

He has long been a champion for senior housing. Vice chair of the HumanGood West Foundation and South Foundations and chair of the Bala Foundation. He also serves as an officer for the Chapin Memorial Home for the Blind Foundation. After a lengthy career, Bill was Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations at a multi-state supermarket chain.

As a volunteer in his local community, he has served as an officer and member of many boards. Former moderator at the Presbytery Philadelphia Presbyterian Church USA, he is also a former mayor and council president of Ambler in Pennsylvania. Close
