Dark since March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic Though it is not entirely officially permanently closed by Boyd it almost certainly will NOT reopen at least not as Boyd Gaming s Eastside Cannery In mid 2022 Boyd leadership said that most of Eastside Cannery s customer base had by now migrated to Sam s Town another much larger Boy... see more

This is where we stop to use the bathroom. But it's sad that the place has stopped lighting up since Corruption strikes. I also don't get the chance to go inside. I love the place so much, and it'd be a shame if it doesn t reopen.

Although I visited the Casino only once before Covid, it was not a payroll transaction so I didn't get the check refunded. I also saw an advertisement for Las Vegas Courtyard homeless services. They don't refer to it as a shelter. They could repurpose the Eastside Cannery into two different shelters.

Pre-covid, we stayed here just before the event. We loved Las Vegas and our time there. The hotel's rates were great. We loved the swimming pool and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We plan to return to this hotel when they open it again. Although we aren't into drinking or gambling, this hotel made up a large part of my unforgettable stay in Las Veg... see more

Since several years, the casino has been closed. Since several years, the entire casino was closed. It is not clear if it will reopen as the eastside cannery.
