About Red Rock Climbing Center

Indoor climbing gyms are an excellent introduction to the climbing world and the training playground for avid rock climbers. The climbing gym walls are made from a massive wood structure containing thousands of hidden nuts. The holds are fastened to these nuts with a bolt, creating endless possibilities for routes. Each route is marked by colored tape, which makes identifying the route obvious while climbing. Every week our route setting staff strips sections of the gym and puts up new routes, so you’ll always have new routes to try. We strip sections based on numbered anchors and an established schedule of rotations. You’ll always know when a route will be taken down so you can finish working on a particular project.

The Red Rock Climbing Center offers both top-rope and lead climbing on over 8,000 square feet of climbing walls designed by Tony Yaniro and Doug Englekirk, two of the world’s top climbers. Additionally, the Red Rock Climbing Center offers over 1,000 square feet of radical overhangs and roof routes designed to tempt, taunt, and challenge every climber that enters our doors. Routes and boulder problems range from easy to very challenging, and our route-setters keep all but our handful of classics changing regularly. Our walls measure 35 feet high and combined with our roofs, and we have routes measuring nearly 100 feet in length - excellent for developing the strength and stamina needed to get on the great sport and trad routes available down the road in Red Rocks.

Indoor climbing center with 35-ft.-high rock walls & 1,000 sq. ft. of overhangs & roof routes.

This is the first time I've seen a gym like it in videos on youtube. Tape on the holds for routes is a delightful old-fashioned technique. You can boulder on the same walls that rope climbing. There are no cubbies. You just throw your bag onto the ground, where people lounge between climbing. One person did an extremely difficult route, then droppe... see more

It is great, but it has a higher price than most other city climbing gyms. The facility also offers fewer amazing community services. This makes it more worthwhile to return and spend more.

They charged 5 for the use of their showers, which were filthy.

It's a great place to go if you are used to modern gyms. You can also climb up the ceiling.

Amazing experience. I was looking for a way to share my passion of climbing with my son. Red Rock Climbing Center provided that safe and secure environment. The pricing was fair, the instructors were friendly and my son enjoyed the entire experience. Parking was difficult but doable.

Visited this gym when I was at Red Rock to boulder outside but it rained Pretty small gym but it makes good use of the limited space it has It does get crowded though so you have to be pretty careful where you step Grading is pretty soft in my opinion
