Mian restaurant was created by the same team behind the famous Chinese restaurant Chengdu Taste.
Mian, the Chinese word for "noodles," serves authentic Sichuan-style noodles. Classic dishes include the Chengdu Zajiang Noodle, Chengdu Cold Noodle, Big Intestine Noodle, etc.
One of the highlights in this restaurant is that they recommend the guests first to take a picture of their noodles, then push their chopsticks to the bottom of the bowl to reach the sauce, stir evenly and finally "enjoy your noodle!"
There are choices in their menu, including "piquant intestine" and "spare rib, "special gizzard" or "beef pickled noodles." Add-ons include fried eggs, beef, intestine," bawan bean," and spare ribs. The beverage list includes herbal tea, mung bean soup, and "Beijing Yogurt."
In addition, they also have a list of appetizers like black fungus, steamed egg, minced pork, and beef in chili sauce.
In Chinese, MIAN translates to noodles. And quite simply, that's what we're presenting: Chongqing style noodles, which come from the city of Chongqing in China's Sichuan province, the origin of one of the favorite traditional cuisines of the Chinese people.
