About Las Vegas Community Healing Garden

The LV Community Healing Garden in downtown Las Vegas was built in three days by community members and local businesses following the October 1 tragedy at the Route 91 music festival.  The garden features a Remembrance Wall, a grove of 58 trees lining a paved path, shrubs, and flowers, all encircling a beautiful oak tree - “the tree of life” donated by Siegfried and Roy.  The 58 trees were planted to signify the 58 lives lost on that tragic evening.  Painted rocks, flowers, pictures, and other mementos placed by community members offering their condolences, prayers, and remembrance of loved ones can be found at the trees and all around the garden.

  • Serving as a place of calm to remember those touched by tragedy
  • Providing a place of refuge for healing
  • A living garden celebrating life, compassion, and fellowship that we find in a community

The Las Vegas community has come together to build a healing garden as a response to the Oct. 1 tragedy. It is dedicated to the victims of the horrific event and features a wall of remembrance, a grove of trees, shrubs, flowers and walkways of pavers and benches. Everything was donated and installed by local companies, organizations and individuals wanting to create something beautiful in the aftermath of the horrific event. It is the hope that this garden, created by the community for the community, will provide a place for the community to heal.

This park is dedicated to the memory of those who were killed in the massacre at 17th Music Festival. It was assembled in less than one week. We went through photos, mementos, and decorations donated by friends. It has been days since my last visit but I still remember most the white wings.

This is where I come to Vegas every time I travel. My niece was one of the 58 who have trees here. I gave her a Christmas ornament.

This is a beautiful place in Las Vegas. It's a monument to the victims of the mass shooting on October 1, 2017. It includes photos, poems and artworks. A Remembrance Wall has a Remembrance tree. The local community built the park in just 4 days. You will be moved to tears.
