About Boulder Dam Brewing Co.

On February 17th of 2007, Boulder Dam Brewing Co. opened its doors to Boulder City, the first brewpub. They were awarded as "BEST OF 2007" by Las Vegas Life Magazine, "BEST MICROBREWERY 2009" - Las Vegas Review-Journal, and "BEST BREWPUB - 2010" - Where The Locals Eat.

The brewery features decor and fixtures from the 1930s, silent films made during the construction of the dam, actual pieces of equipment used during the construction and a myriad of art depicting Boulder City's beginnings and brewing from the period.

Boulder Dam Brewing serves six original pub-brewed beers at a time, with seasonals being tapped every month. The 40-barrel system allows the flexibility to offer many unique styles. The menu ranges from traditional pub fare, down to soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. They have some great wines and non-alcoholic choices.

Their food is fresh and prepared from scratch - no frozen, pre-packaged junk. They even offer growlers, half-gallon to-go jugs, so our customers can enjoy beer wherever and whenever they want.

I was not too excited about the place. The service was excellent, but .... You can decide for yourself.

A great spot for casual dining or good bars. I tried a few appetizers, including sliders and pretzel bites. The beer cheese went well with the pretzels. The service was excellent.

It is quite cool. It would have been nice to sit outside, but it was pouring. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was delicious. Food was my favorite part. The brewer's favourite meal was the one I chose, but I don't remember what name it was. This was a wonderful meal and one I would highly recommend.

Stopped in for a cold beer after doing a 6 mile hike and it was worth the 35 minute wait to get a table. Food was slower to come, but the Wings were outstanding! Service was slow for a Presidents Day Monday at 1 pm...but it was so nice out on the patio and the beer so cold, time was inconsequential .
