A Vintage Collection. Home of the annual Boulder City Pedal Car Show.
Glena opened Back in Thyme in 2001 and Antique Depot in 2003, which seeded the thriving antique community in Boulder City. As far as vintage collectibles are concerned, this is THE place to go! The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly, and you can always go "Back in Thyme".
Established in 2001.
Back in Thyme opened as a typically diverse antique store. Acquiring the first pedal car re-ignited a passion I'd had for them since a child, and a specialty evolved. Maintaining an inventory of 100 pieces, the shop has become known for them and has even enjoyed national exposure on HISTORY. I've enjoyed writing articles for print, and been consulted on others.
Our other specialty, and just as fascinating and dear to my heart, is old Native American Indian jewelry. Our inventory is unrivaled, and cannot be compared to cases of what is mass-produced and imported in other stores. We specialize in the historic, one-of-a-kind pieces, known as "Old Pawn". Again, I have honed my expertise in this field as well, with articles published on the history, qualities, and care of these old and becoming increasingly rare pieces. The shop has been featured in several regional magazines. We love to educate people as well, whether they come to see it, or become captivated when they step into the shop.
