Wow!! The park is breathtaking! It was quiet but not crowded when we went. The narrows were a hike with dry suites, emerald pool hike and canyon rim.

This is truly a must experience. If you like Disneyland s Cars Land , well, drive this and you ll see the foundational model for the ride. This tunnel is just a marvel, and so cool to drive. It s narrow, and you better pay attention. But enjoy it, love the peekaboo outlooks (necessary for air regulation and amazing views), and yes, honk and enjoy ... see more

Awesome tunnel unlike anything I ve seen before Love the little arched windows carved into the tunnel Each one has a beautiful view of the canyon outside We visited in Dec so there was almost no traffic or wait time Oversized vehicles do require all oncoming traffic to stop and we did see that happen as we were walking to the canyon overloo... see more

This tunnel is great for history lovers. It narrows down to one lane as larger vehicles go through, so be prepared to wait. The tunnel is dark. However, there are some windows that allow you to see Pine creek. You can't stop anywhere along the tunnel.

Tunnels for large pickups are dangerous. The signage on the bridge can be hard to read at night. There is no minimum vehicle size. Rangers don't have an area to test vehicles for dimensions.

On the way to the tunnel, there are many switches. You might stop at different spots to snap photos. You will see the arch right before entering the tunnel. Traffic only has one lane so you may need to wait.
