The Tavern

The Tavern is a family-owned and operated bar by Dan and Sarah Reynolds, who loves to travel and come to owning a bar that will create a safe place where people go and have a good time.

The bar is named after one of the family's favorite restaurants in Virginia, The Tavern, the oldest historical building in Abingdon. It is a tavern and a stagecoach for travelers built-in 1779. Being from Virginia, the name Tavern felt like home, which made the couple want to create the same atmosphere for customers to feel "a comfortable place like home away from home."

The Tavern will welcome you to a classy lounge area where you can listen to music, enjoy a drink, and their mouthwatering sandwiches. It is also a local spot for gaming and entertainment, open 24 hours.
