You can get away from city life without having to drive far. The waterfalls and rapids here are stunning too.

It's a great place to enjoy nature in an oasis-like preserve. There are bike and walking trails that can be accessed by all skill levels.

This is a wonderful escape from city life. While we were walking around, we nearly forgot that we were in the desert. I suggest bringing water and snacks to keep cool during summer heat.

The park's outskirts are pet-friendly, but some trails allow dogs. Small is a great find in the middle of desert.

Wonderful walk. Very tranquil and peaceful. The visitor center remains closed, but it is possible to walk the trails.
